This product is classified as a traditional herbal remedy, which means that it has been allowed to make claims for effects that have been based on traditional usage. However, in the case of this preparation containing the herbs Boldo, Dandelion, Fucus (seaweed) and Butternut, there appears to be little or no supporting scientific evidence of any effects of these herbs in weight reduction. Indeed, the known effects of these herbs do not support a weight reduction claim, in that Dandelion has mild diuretic properties, Boldo is a ´detoxifying´ herb and Fucus has mild thyroid stimulating effects.

Overall in the opinion of the SC panel, this product would be very unlikely to deliver the types of benefit expected by the consumer. Product is reasonably priced compared to some weight loss supplements.
